At heart owner Alistair is a lover of food, drink and a good atmosphere!

The Old Eyre Arms is a trip down memory lane for me, all be it in a different Pub.

As a kid my first memories of a great pub was with my grandparents, if we went to their house for dinner my grandad always went to the pub for a drink with friends first.

And, if we went our for a special occasion it was to the local pub where the food was excellent and Bill the landlord was everyone’s friend – it was fantastic and I still remember his face and laughter all these years on!

Fast forward to the Eyre Arms nearly 25 Years later and I am excited to re-open this fantastic historical pub and have is full of people again.

Whilst food will be a massive part of the journey it is important to me that people can call in for a drink, and perhaps a game of dominos or cards, which is why I have maintained the traditional tap room – a room for drink, conversation and fun!

There will be 3 dedicated dining areas where we will serve Traditional English Pub Food, where families will be welcome.
