The Old Eyre Arms is an oasis of quality set in one of the most beautiful parts of Derbyshire, lying north of the old market town of Bakewell (famous for its Bakewell puddings) in the centre of the Peak District National Park close to both Chatsworth House and the Monsal Trail at Hassop Station.
This pub and restaurant is family run by Lee and Sian who are devoted to retaining the character and friendly atmosphere of this unique unspoilt hostelry, cheery logs fires warm its charming oak beamed rooms.
Here, you will have the choice of three cosy rooms to choose from, including the Lounge Bar (where you will find pictures of the infamous Cavalier ghost), The Snug, and The Old Tap Room, which all retain a traditional atmosphere with an array of interesting old maps, antiques, open log fires and Lepper Shelf.
Our menu’s are seasonally driven and our produce is locally sourced wherever possible. Supporting local suppliers is something we are passionate about; we believe that forming relationships and offering quality ingredients is key to providing fresh food at its peak.
Our menus, fine wines, real ales and the ever growing gin wall can all be enjoyed in any of our comfortable and homely rooms where you can peruse an array of interesting old maps and antiques. Our Beer garden is open all year-round, offering a tranquil space in which to view the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
